How To Create A Digital Vision Board

January 26, 2019

Hey Mamas! If you’re anything like us, you’ve been thinking a lot about what you want for the new year. It has only just begun and there are so many wonderful things we can invite into our lives. One of the best ways to do that is by creating a vision board.  In this video clip, Von explains how to create your very own in an easy to reference digital version.

What Is A Vision Board?

A vision board is an easy way for you to keep track of your hopes, dreams, goals, and intentions for the year. When you place these things in a visual format, you can reference them often and feel connected to them on a daily basis. Otherwise, we are more prone to forget.

How Can I Create A Digital Vision Board?

Step #1:  Write down anything you would like to invite and welcome into your life this year for your vision board. It might be an intention for the year like abundance or a mantra, such as “Does it spark joy?” Other ideas may include goals such as working on a more toned physique. Or starting a new business. Or meditating more often.

Step #2: Find a digital picture that will represent the pieces on your board. You can use sites like Pinterest, Unsplash, or any other photo sites you are familiar with.

Step #3: Create a digital template on a free graphic design site like Canva. You can select the wallpaper option and add photo grids to neatly align your pictures.

Why Should I Make A Digital Vision Board Instead Of A Hard Copy Version?

There is nothing inherently wrong with a hard copy version. But a digital version allows for more flexibility, more photo options, and the ability to add it to your computer or phone wall paper so you see it frequently. You also have more autonomy over editing, if you need to make a change. Using a digital vision board allows you to invite more of what you hope to accomplish into your life. By keeping your gaze set and your mind focused on your goals through this visual reference, you are inviting abundance and success into your life.

Wishing you wonderful visioning for this year and beyond!
